Two months after passing a doctor’s well visit with flying colors, Donna Warren was sent to the emergency room to find out she had Stage 3 ovarian cancer. An operation in New York removed her ovaries, diaphragm, appendix, spleen and part of her stomach. Thankfully, she had a place close to home where should could receive her post-surgery treatment.

How the Regional Cancer Center is Saving Lives

The Regional Cancer Center saves lives by coordinating personalized cancer care at a single location in Southwest Florida. This prevents very sick patients from running around town or leaving the area for the lifesaving care they need. The Center’s specialists and support staff excel at providing the latest cancer treatments, targeted therapies, technological advancements, one-on-one counseling, and much more. In addition to Lee Health physicians, Florida Cancer Specialists and Florida Gynecologic Oncology have physician offices at the Center. Additionally, the Center includes:
